What Is This Tool?
This tool applies classic tonal adjustments per pixel: brightness shifts every value up or down, contrast pushes values away from or toward mid-grey, and saturation scales how colourful the image is. "Auto" analyses the histogram and stretches it to use the full range.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does "Auto" actually do?
It finds the darkest and lightest meaningful values in the image and remaps them to pure black and white, spreading everything in between. It is a contrast/levels stretch, not a colour correction.
Can I push a slider far and undo it?
Yes. Every adjustment is recomputed from the original each time, so returning a slider to 0 fully removes its effect.
Does high contrast lose detail?
Strong contrast can clip shadows to black or highlights to white, which is not recoverable afterwards. Watch the preview for lost detail.
Is saturation the same as vibrance?
This is a straight saturation scale that affects all colours equally, not a protected "vibrance" that spares skin tones.
